This summer, I will be going back to my birthplace of Vietnam to help my uncle run his charity. This charity is designed to help kids living in poverty get off the streets and into schools. Children in poverty are often forced to go to work by their parents to help provide for their families, therefore, these kids are unable to go to school. Also, schools in Vietnam can be expensive, so the charity helps the children pay for school tuition.
Since Vietnam has a terrible record of child labor, I did a little research and discovered some disturbing findings. There are several countries around the world that make the children do some truly horrible things. Take at the link below to see the facts.
After reading, please consider helping our efforts in assisting kids in Vietnam go to school. If you have knowledge on the matter, please give me a few tips on how to run a successful charity. Thank you!
